CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's soccer program welcomes West Virginia for its Big 12 conference opener on Thursday night inside Gettler Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
Cincinnati's matches will be broadcast on ESPN+ and can be followed at StatBroadcast. The first 250 students will receive a Bearcats t-shirt upon arrival.
This will be both teams' 2024 Big 12 Conference opener as Cincinnati enters its second season as a member of the conference and West Virginia enters its 12th.
The Bearcats and the Mountaineers come into the match up with the same record (4-2-1) after closing non-conference play.
This match up begins a three-match home stand as UC hosts Kansas (Sept. 19) and Kansas State (Sept. 22) before heading out west to face Arizona and Arizona State.

She recorded a career-high eight saves and her 16th career shutout vs. Butler

This will be the fourth overall meeting between the two programs. The first match up dates back to 2007 where the Mountaineers came out on top, 2-0 in Morgantown.
