SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team saw improvement after completing the second round of the Cardinal Cup.
Maggie Huett led the Bearcats with a huge day, jumping 40 spots and is tied for 10th place entering the final round on Sunday. She posted a team-high four birdies in the round and finished the round with a career-low score of 69. She is seeking her first career top-10 finish on Sunday.
Mar García Jiménez (T29), Rim Imni (T34), Ruby Chou (T50) and Yu-Wei Chiang (T67) follow in order.
UC sits in 10th place with a team score of 608. Western Kentucky and Rutgers are tied for the lead with a score of 588.
The final round takes place Sunday morning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. ET.
