CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's soccer program prepares for a two-match road swing against Arizona on Thursday. Kickoff is set for 10 p.m. ET in Tucson.

Cincinnati defeated Kansas State, 2-1, on Sunday afternoon inside Gettler Stadium.
The Bearcats picked up their first Big 12 conference win of the season and improved to 5-4-1 (1-2), while the Wildcats dropped to 3-6-1 (0-3) overall.
Cincinnati got off to a strong start, opening the scoring in the 16th minute through fifth-year player Lauren Bastian. Bastian earned her first goal of the season alongside four shots after being out of the Bearcat lineup due to injury.
In the first half, UC dominated with nine shots while keeping Kansas State from registering any attempts. This marked the second time this season the Bearcat defense has held their opponent to zero shots in one half.
Quickly after the break, the Wildcats notched the equalizer just 39 seconds into the second half.
In the 68th minute, junior Coley Sidloski secured Cincinnati's victory by scoring her lone goal in the honorary "We Play For 3" game, named after her sister, and former Bearcat, Ally.

Freshman Rylee Felton was named Co-Freshman of the Week by the Big 12 for the week of 9/4, marking her first weekly accolade and Cincinnati's first of the season.
She leads the Big 12 in game-winning goals (three), sits fifth in total goals (six) and is eighth in points (13).
The Milford, Mich. native has been outstanding in her debut season, scoring in four consecutive matches, including the equalizer against Louisville and a pair of goals against Eastern Michigan. She leads the team with six goals, 13 points, and a .625 SOG%.
// GOALKEEPIN' IT REAL
Fifth-year goalkeeper Anna Rexford has been instrumental in the last nine matches, playing every minute.
She recorded a career-high eight saves and her 16th career shutout vs. Butler and sits sixth all-time in career saves (232).
Against Xavier, Rexford finished with five total saves. This marked the 21st game of her career with five or more saves.
