TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati baseball team is hosting an open scrimmage on Thursday, Oct. 3 and will be hosting Student Appreciation Day presented by TQL at UC Baseball Stadium.
First pitch for the scrimmage is set for 4:00 p.m.
Students are invited to arrive early for FREE Donatos Pizza (while supplies last). In addition, the first 100 students at the ballpark will also receive a FREE pair of "pit viper" sunglasses - courtesy of TQL.
Entertainment and games will be provided throughout the open scrimmage, including "baseball bingo", with a collection of different Bearcats prizes up for grabs.
Following the open scrimmage, students will be invited down to the field to mingle with the players and take part in UC's first-ever student batting practice. Prizes will be awarded for hitting targets and/or home runs. Batting helmets and bats will be provided and participants will be required to sign a waiver.
