The Cincinnati women's tennis team capped off an action-packed weekend at the Milwaukee Classic on Sunday.

MILWAUKEE – The Cincinnati women's tennis team capped off an action-packed weekend at the Milwaukee Classic on Sunday.

Junior Rozalia Gruszczynska picked up the lone Cincinnati win at the tournament in the consolation bracket, defeating Marquette's Andie Weise, 6-2, 7-6.

The doubles pair of sophomore Gabrielle Guenther and Gruszczynska fell in a tightly knit battle against Houston's duo of Valeriia Krokhotina and Iva Sepa, 6-4.

The Bearcats will host their annual Pam Whitehead fall invitational on the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center Courts located on campus, admission is free. The event is set from Friday, Oct. 4 – Saturday, Oct. 5.
