TicketsMIAMI, Fla. – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team set a program record for the lowest team single round, recording a score of 281 in the first round of the Pat Bradley Invitational on Monday.
Graduate student Ruby Chou led the Bearcats, posting a score of 67 (-4) in the first round, which tied the school single-round record set multiple times, the last in Spring 2021.
Junior Mar García recorded a team-high nine birdies in the first two rounds of the tournament. She currently sits tied for seventh entering the final round on Tuesday.
Rim Imni (T11), Chou (T14), Yu-Wei Chiang (T22) and Maggie Huett (T42) follow in order. Imni's five-stroke jump puts her on the cusp of the top-10.
UC sits in fourth place with a team score of 572, two strokes back of second. Florida Gulf Coast leads the way with a team score of 549.
The final round will tee off Tuesday morning with a shotgun start of at 8 a.m. ET.
