CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati volleyball team remains on the road with a Wednesday night match at Iowa State. First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET in Ames, Iowa.
SERIES HISTORY
Iowa State holds a 4-1 lead in the all-time series against UC. The two teams met as Big 12 foes for the first time last season, resulting in a five-set win for the Cyclones on Nov. 25 in Ames. UC's only win over ISU came on Aug. 30, 1990.

Cincinnati has won seven straight matches for its longest winning streak since 2019, when the Bearcats clinched 11 consecutive victories.
Cincinnati used a total team effort to sweep West Virginia in its Big 12 opener on Wednesday in Morgantown. The Bearcats won their Big 12 road opener for the second year in a row. UC improved to 10-2 and remained unbeaten in true road games (5-0).
Junior Carly Glendinning continued her recent tear with a team-high 15 kills (.412). She has posted double-digit kills in seven consecutive matches.
Senior Molly Harrison's serving was a game changer for the Bearcats. She ignited two key scoring runs, starting with a 6-0 spurt in the first set. When UC was trailing by three in the second set, Harrison stepped up again with a 4-0 run that featured two aces.
Frame and Wittekind anchored the backline with a combined 24 digs vs. WVU. Frame is averaging 4.62 digs per set while Wittekind is adding 2.12 digs over the last seven matches.
GIVE IT TO GLENDINNING
Junior Carly Glendinning has come alive for the Bearcats during their seven-match win streak. She has put down a team-high 119 kills at 4.58 average and .327 hitting percentage. She has tallied 20-plus kills three times during the stretch, setting a new career high in the category each time.
Her top performance came versus Morehead State on Sept. 19. She totaled 24 kills at a .310 hitting percentage and added a career-high four service aces.
In UC's win over Akron, she posted seven of her 22 kills in the fifth set. She hit .700 in the frame to power the Bearcats to the win.
DOUBLE THE TROUBLE
Senior Katelyn Lefler and sophomore Sydney Nolan have recorded double-doubles in three of their last four matches. They each have four on the season.
Nolan delivered a standout performance at Morehead State (Sept. 21), racking up a career-high 19 kills at a .429 clip to go along with 13 digs. She did not commit an attacking error until the fourth set.
Nolan is second on team in both kills (3.29) and digs (2.69) per set. She has posted double-digit kills nine times and has led the team in the category on four occasions.
Lefler sits fourth in the league and 18th nationally in assists per set (10.62). She has dished out 40-plus assists five times this season.
IN THE RANKINGS
The Bearcats rank fourth in the Big 12 in blocks per set (2.43). Individually, Walker ranks fifth in the category (1.21 blk/s) while Williams sits 11th (1.05 blk/s).
Walker posted a career-high nine blocks in wins against both BGSU and Chicago State, tying her for 12th in the nation for blocks in a three-set match. In its victory over BGSU, UC notched 15 blocks, which ranks sixth in the nation for a three-set match.
