LAWRENCE, Kan. – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team completed the first 36 holes of the Marilynn Smith Invitational on Monday at the Lawrence Country Club.
Ruby Chou led the Bearcats with team-high five birdies in the first two rounds. She carded an even-par in the second round, a four-stroke improvement from the first round. She sits at four-over par (148), tied for 22nd place entering the final round Tuesday.
Junior Minoo Mousavi made her Bearcat debut in this tournament. She carded four birdies in the first round and is tied for 43rd place going into the final round on Tuesday.
Rim Imni (T28), Yu-Wei Chiang (T43) and Mar García (T43) follow in order.
UC sits in ninth place with a score of 606. Kansas leads the way with a team score of 564.
The final round will tee off Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. ET.
