TicketsCINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati freshman libero Faith Frame has been named Big 12 Rookie of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced on Tuesday. Frame is the first Cincinnati volleyball player to win multiple Big 12 weekly awards in a season.
The Gretna, Neb., native totaled 30 digs on the week for a 4.29 digs per set average. She recorded a match-high 17 digs in UC's sweep of UCF. The total helped the Bearcats be plus-12 in the category (59-47).
She has recorded 10-or-more digs in six straight matches, 10 overall, and her 4.16 digs per set ranks sixth in the league.
Frame and the Bearcats are back in action Thursday vs. Kansas State. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. inside Fifth Third Arena.
