STILLWATER, Okla. – The University of Cincinnati women's soccer program fell to Oklahoma State, 1-0 on Sunday inside Neal Patterson Stadium.
The Bearcats moved to 6-7-2 (2-5-1) while the Cowgirls improved to 11-2-3 (4-2-2).
Oklahoma State opened scoring in the 26th minute with a goal from Alex Morris. Fifth year goalkeeper Anna Rexford notched four saves in the first half and remained in goal for the full match.
Junior Claire Rea and fifth year Lauren Bastian led the offense with two shots apiece. Each earned their third-straight game recording one or more shots.
UC had a late surge of energy when Bastian fired a shot aimed for the top right corner of the goal, but it was saved by OSU's Grace Gordan.
Cincinnati returns to Gettler Stadium for its last two home matches of the season as they host Colorado on Thurs. (7 p.m.) and Texas Tech (2 p.m.) on Sunday for Senior Day.
