KENT, Ohio -- Cincinnati freshman Leo Wessel took home the Golden Flash Invitational title, a 28-player field that featured individuals from several schools within Ohio as well as the University of Maryland.
Wessel was 3-under for the day, besting teammate and classmate Harry Satterlee and two others from Kent State and Bowling Green, who had a three-way tie for second at even-144. Cole Imig was 1-over to tie for fifth and Harrison Sims tied for 14th at 5-over.
The one-day event was meant to also coincide with the Bearcats' Quail Valley event in Vero Beach, Fla., but that was canceled due to Hurricane Milton.
