CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati community proudly celebrates the induction of former women's soccer coach Meridy Glenn into the Ohio Collegiate Hall of Fame.

A trailblazer in women's soccer, Glenn led the UC women's soccer program for 25 seasons from 1983 to 2007, amassing an impressive record of 250 wins, six NCAA tournament berths, three conference championships, and five conference tournament championships.

The induction honors not only her extraordinary coaching achievements but also her profound impact on the lives of her players. Glenn's pregame speeches inspired countless athletes, with her signature mantra, "leave everything you got out on the pitch," encouraging players to give their all. Under her leadership, the team overcame early challenges to clinch two conference championships and achieve a historic victory against #2 Notre Dame, advancing to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament.

In addition to her Hall of Fame induction, Glenn was honored with the OCSA Honor Award in 2017, solidifying her status as one of the most successful female coaches in NCAA history.

Beyond her accolades, what sets Glenn apart is her genuine care for her players and their families.

Glenn, a dedicated coach and loving mother, is married to Keith Glenn, with whom she shares two children, Teagan and Tavis. The entire family has been a pillar of support throughout her coaching career.
