CINCINNATI –– The Cincinnati women's tennis team is prepared to head to Fort Worth, Texas, to compete in the TCU Jae Foundation Invitational at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center & Bartzen Varsity Courts this weekend. The event will begin this Thursday, Oct. 31 and conclude on Sunday, Nov. 3.
The Bearcats' whole roster will be featured in the event.
In addition to Cincinnati and host TCU, the 15-team field includes – Arizona, Baylor, Illinois, Kansas, LSU, Maryland, Missouri, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Rice, SMU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Wisconsin.

Cincinnati picked up a total of 10 singles wins and four doubles wins over at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships.
The Bearcats picked up five doubles wins and an event-high 15 singles wins and over the two-day event.
Sophomore Gabrielle Guenther advanced into the singles main draw round of 16 for the Bearcats, where she fell against Tennessee's Catherine Aulia, 6-3, 6-2.
En route to the round of 16, the Mishawaka, Ind., native picked up a win over Vanderbilt's Amy Stevens, 7-5, 6-0. Guenther then secured another straight set win over Indiana's Nicole Sifuentes, 7-5, 6-2 in the second round.
Sophomore Sakurako Watanabe made it all the way through the qualifying singles into the main draw bracket, where she fell in the first round to Murray State's Valeria Chaikovskaia, 7-6(7), 6-1.
In the doubles main draw, the duo of graduate student Zeynep Erman and junior Rozalia Gruszczynska beat Southern Indiana's Antonia Ferrarini and Anais Negrail, 8-2.
