CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati baseball program announced its 2025 schedule on Thursday.
Highlighting the Bearcats' 2025 slate are 24 home games at UC Baseball Stadium and 20 games against programs that made the NCAA Tournament a year ago.
Cincinnati will begin the year with three straight road series at Duke (Feb. 14-16), UNLV (Feb. 21-24), and UC San Diego (Feb. 27-March 2) before returning home.
UC's home opener is set for Wednesday, March 5 vs. Toledo, which will begin a six-game homestand. It will be followed by a four-game series vs. Canisius (March 7-9) and a Tuesday contest vs. Miami (Ohio) (March 11).
Big 12 play begins the following weekend at Arizona (March 14-16). Cincinnati's other road Big 12 series are at Texas Tech (April 4-6), West Virginia (April 17-19), Kansas (May 2-4), and TCU (May 9-11). The Bearcats' Big 12 home opener is Thursday, March 20 vs. BYU to kick off a three-game series. Other Big 12 home opponents are UCF (March 28-30), Arizona State (April 11-13), Oklahoma State (April 25-27), and Kansas State (May 15-17).
Cincinnati will also host Louisville (March 25), Xavier (April 15), and Indiana (May 13) in non-conference action and will visit, Miami (Ohio) (April 1), Xavier (April 22), and Oral Roberts (May 6) for midweek contests.
Once again, Cincinnati will participate in the Joe Nuxhall Classic at Prasco Park. The event is scheduled for April 8-9 and the Bearcats will open against Wright State. The winner of that game will play the winner of the Xavier vs. Miami (Ohio) game in the championship contest.
The 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship will be held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas on May 21-24.
Cincinnati will be looking to build off a successful 2024 season, its first as a member of the Big 12. The Bearcats posted an overall record of 32-25 and a 17-13 conference mark, good for a fifth-place finish in the regular season. The 32 wins constitute UC's first 30-win season since 2019, and the program was among the "First Four Out" of last season's NCAA Tournament.
