The Bearcats (12-8, 3-6 Big 12) secured their first series sweep of the Knights since 2019.
Junior Carly Glendinning led the offense with a match-high 16 kills at a .297 hitting percentage. She has led the team in kills in 13 matches this season and recorded double-digit kills 14 times.
The defensive duo of Faith Frame (15 digs) and Lilly Gillespie (10 digs) combined for 25 digs, while senior Abby Walker chipped in four kills on nine attempts, along with five blocks.
Cincinnati opened the first set with a 4-0 run to take a 9-6 lead, featuring two blocks from Walker. The Bearcats continued their strong start with another 4-0 spurt, highlighted by two kills from Glendinning, and closed the first set on a 6-1 scoring run. Walker's back-to-back blocks secured the set, 25-18.
The Bearcats led by as many as six in the second set (19-13) before the Knights mounted a comeback. UCF pulled within one at 24-23, but a Knights' attack error gave the Bearcats the set, 25-23.
Cincinnati used a series of scoring runs to take a 20-16 lead in the third set. Back-to-back kills from Endres and Nolan extended UC's lead to five (22-17). The Bearcats closed out the set, 25-20, completing the match sweep, 3-0.
