TicketsCINCINNATI –– The Cincinnati women's tennis team is ready to head down to Murfreesboro, Tenn., to compete in the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships at the MTSU Tennis Complex on Wednesday.
The Bearcats whole roster will be featured in the event.
Last season in the ITA Ohio Valley Regional championships, the seven Bearcats who competed in the event compiled 10 singles victories and two more in doubles action.
Graduate student Victoire de Samucewicz advanced to the round of the 32 in the women's open singles main draw before falling in a closely contested third set.

Graduate student Zeynep Erman, junior Rozalia Gruszczynska and sophomore Gabrielle Guenther are in the singles main draw.
Senior Callie Flanagan, junior Isabel Pacheco, sophomore's Sakurako Watanabe and Morgan Pyrz and freshman Milica Popovski are in the qualifying singles.
Erman/Gruszczynska, Pyrz/Watanabe, Flanagan/Guenther and Pacheco/Popovski are in the main draw doubles.
Singles: A minimum of 64 players will compete in the main draw and qualifying rounds. The top two singles finalists from each of the 13 regions will advance to the NCAA Singles Championship.
Doubles: A minimum of 32 teams will compete in the main draw and qualifying rounds. The doubles champion from each of the 13 regions will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship.

Cincinnati hosted three teams – DePaul, Marshall and Miami (OH) at its annual Pam Whitehead invitational
The Bearcats picked up five doubles wins and a event high 15 singles wins and over the two-day event.
The duo of Flanagan and Guenther combined for two doubles wins (6-4 vs MOH & 6-1 vs DPU), while the pair of Watanabe and Pyrz totaled a team high two wins as well (6-4 vs MU & 7-5 vs DPU).
Five Bearcats won all their singles matchups. Flanagan, Gruszczynska, Pacheco and Watanabe went undefeated in singles play over the weekend.
