CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati baseball program and head coach Jordan Bischel announced 11 signings to its 2025 recruiting class on Thursday.
It was a fruitful Early Signing Period for the Bearcats, whose class ranks 46th nationally. It is the highest-rated recruiting class in program history, and comes on the tails of Cincinnati's first season in the Big 12 in 2024. UC reloaded a roster that won 32 games last year and finished fifth in the Big 12, claiming six series wins in conference play.
"Our entire staff has worked diligently over the last 16 months to not only identify and recruit tremendously talented student-athletes, but young men who will fit our culture and are truly excited about the University of Cincinnati and our vision for our baseball program," Bischel said. " Specifically, Coach [Kyle] Pettoruto – with tremendous assistance from Coach [Tayler] Sheriff – have worked countless hours identifying great fits and then fostering relationships to paint a picture for the future of our program. This is an incredibly exciting group."
The 2025 recruiting class is comprised of pitcher Connor Blue (O'Fallon, Ill.), outfielder/first baseman/pitcher Joe DuSell (Elgin, Ill.), pitcher Scott DiMarco (Medina, Ohio), catcher Enzo Infelise (New Lenox, Ill.), pitcher Tucker King (Western Springs, Ill.), outfielder Luke Kosko (Jefferson Hills, Pa.), first baseman/outfielder Nolan Jaworowski (St. Louis, Mo.), outfielder Quincy Mazeke (Glenoak, Ohio), pitcher Brandon Menser (Sesser, Ill.), infielder Jackson Reardon (Hebron, Ky.), and infielder Ben Voegele (Hamilton, Ohio).

Connor Blue | Pitcher | O'Fallon, Ill. | O'Fallon Township
Blue earned all-conference honors and won a regional title at O'Fallon Township as a sophomore in 2023. As a junior this past season, he led his team to a 26-9 record. Blue has posted a sparkling 0.95 ERA for his travel team, GBA, over the last three summers.
Coach Bischel on Connor: "Connor has a very heavy fastball as part of a quality three-pitch mix. Most importantly, he has shown a track record of recording outs at a very efficient level. His ability to attack the strike zone will allow him to immediately compete."
Scott DiMarco | Pitcher | Medina, Ohio | Medina Buckeye
DiMarco is a two-time all-conference player and was also named all-district and All-Ohio as a junior this past spring. He helped lead Medina Buckeye to a Greater Lakes Conference title as a sophomore in 2023. DiMarco has also been a member of the football, basketball, and golf programs at his high school.
Coach Bischel on Scott: "Scott is a young senior who came on our radar late. He has an impressive combination of youth, strike throwing ability and arm strength and should have a ton of upside ahead of him."
Joe DuSell | Outfielder/First Baseman/Pitcher | Elgin, Ill. | St. Edward Central Catholic
DuSell has lettered each if his first three seasons at St. Edward Central Catholic, and is a two-time all-conference honoree and two-time team captain. As a junior last season, he helped lead his team to a regional title and a section semifinal appearance while hitting .505 and posting a .608 on-base percentage. On the mound, he totaled 73 strikeouts in 33 innings pitched. A power threat at the plate, DuSell leads Illinois' Class of 2025 in home runs entering his senior season and was an IHSA Player of the Year nominee last season.
Coach Bischel on Joe: "Joe is an immensely talented young man who felt at home on his visit with us. His bat will be what jumps out, but he has high-level arm strength and runs well. Joe also has a chance to develop as a quality left-handed pitcher for us."
Enzo Infelise | Catcher | New Lenox, Ill. | Providence Catholic
Infelise helped lead Providence Catholic to a state championship this past spring, recording two hits in the title game He has also helped his school win the Chicago Catholic League twice and has been named an all-conference player twice. Infelise earned all-state honors as a sophomore in 2023, hitting .529. He has won a combined 83 games in his first three seasons of high school baseball.
Coach Bischel on Enzo: "Enzo is an elite high school hitter who will immediately compete with the bat in our program. We are optimistic that he will develop into a high-level, two-way catcher for us."
Nolan Jaworowski | First Baseman/Outfielder | St. Louis, Mo. | St. John Vianney
Jaworowski earned first-team all-conference and second-team all-conference his sophomore and junior year at St. John Vianney. His junior year, he hit four home runs and had an OPS of .884. In his sophomore year, Jaworowski had a .430 batting average and led his team to a 30-6 record.
Coach Bischel on Nolan: "Nolan is a very physical player who will only get stronger once on campus. He will be a dangerous bat from the left side."
Tucker King | Pitcher | Western Springs, Ill. | Lyons Township
King has earned all-conference honors twice at Lyons Township. His junior year, he helped lead the team to a regional championship and threw a no-hitter against Hinsdale Central back in April. As a sophomore in 2023, King earned his first all-conference honor and his team won a regional championship. He also is a member of the football and wrestling team, posting a 23-1 record as a wrestler his freshman season and helping lead Lyons Township to a conference championship in football this fall as a senior.
Coach Bischel on Tucker: "Tucker is another high upside, physical right-handed pitcher with arm strength. He is an athletic multi-sport athlete and will only get better and better during his time here."
Luke Kosko | Outfielder | Jefferson Hills, Pa. | Thomas Jefferson
Kosko received first-team all-conference honors for Thomas Jefferson as a junior this past spring. He hit .383 with eight doubles and stole 10 bases during his junior season. A talented athlete, he is also the starting quarterback on the football team and recently led Thomas Jefferson to a win in the WPIAL 4A semifinals vs. Aliquippa.
Coach Bischel on Luke: "Luke is an athletic multi-sport athlete that plays quarterback as well. He is another physical, left-handed hitter that should be able to immediately compete in our outfield.
Quincy Mazeke | Outfielder | Canton, Ohio | GlenOak
Mazeke has earned three varsity letters at Glenoak. He also has thrived on his summer club team, the T3 Warhawks, leading them to a Marucci World Series title in 2024. He played 46 games and posted a .363 batting average while hitting three home runs and tallying 33 RBI, 21 walks, and 15 stolen bases.
Coach Bischel on Quincy: "Quincy is hands down one of the fastest and most explosive players in the state of Ohio. He will be able to change the game with his athleticism and is a perfect fit to excel in our pressure-based offensive style while being a lock down defender in the outfield."
Brandon Menser | Pitcher | Sesser, Ill. | Sesser-Valier
Menser has earned all-conference honors three times, has been named conference MVP twice, and has received all-south and all-state accolades. He has helped lead Sesser-Valier to three regional championships and two conference championships through his first three seasons of high school baseball. Menser has also played basketball and golf at Sesser-Valley.
Coach Bischel on Brandon: "Brandon is another young, late developing senior who not only has projectable size and arm strength, but has shown a high level of command that will allow him to quickly compete for innings for us."
Jackson Reardon | Infielder | Hebron, Ky. | Covington Catholic
As a junior this past spring, Reardon earned first-team all-state honors and was named regional player of the year after hitting .463 with 15 doubles, six triples, three home runs, and posting an OPS of 1.308. His exploits also earned him first-team all-state honors as well. Reardon hit .389 as a sophomore in 2023, adding eight doubles and a pair of triples.
Coach Bischel on Jackson: "Keeping Jackson home for his college choice was a huge priority for us. He is a high-level defender on the infield who has all the tools needed to go from an elite high school player to an elite college player."
Ben Voegele | Infielder | Hamilton, Ohio | Ross
Voegele is a three-time all-city honoree and has twice been named all-state. He was named his conference's player of the year as a junior this past spring, a season in which he broke his school's all-time stolen base and runs scored records. Voegele also owns his school's single-season stolen base record after swiping 31 bags as a sophomore in 2023. He hit .417 as a freshman, ranking among the top three in batting average in the league. Off the field, he has earned academic all-conference accolades each of the last three years. Voegele has also played basketball at Ross.
Coach Bischel on Ben: "Ben is a local student-athlete who has always wanted to be a Bearcat. He has earned his way into our program with the ability to defend in the middle infield at a high level while also being a highly athletic left-handed hitter."
