Senior Abby Walker led the team with six kills at a .333 clip to go along with three blocks. Setter Katelyn Lefler recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 21 assists and 16 digs.
The first set was tightly contested early on, with both teams trading points up to 10-all. Colorado then broke away with a 5-1 run to lead 15-11. Cincinnati narrowed the gap, but a late 4-1 run by Colorado closed out the set (25-20).
Cincinnati came out strong in the second set, keeping it close up to 9-7. Colorado responded with a 7-2 run to stretch its lead to 16-9. The Bearcats rallied with a 5-1 run late in the set (20-18), thanks to kills by Sydney Nolan and Abby Walker. However, Colorado finished with a 5-3 closing run, sealing the set at 25-21.
The third set saw another close start, with the teams tied at 8-all. Colorado then surged ahead with an 8-3 run, giving them a 16-11 lead. Cincinnati managed to chip away with a mini 3-1 run, but Colorado finished the set on a 6-2 run to secure the match.
