Kroner Promoted to Lead UC Athletics’ Compliance & Administration Department

CINCINNATI – Cincinnati Athletics' Grace Kroner has been promoted to Associate Athletics Director of Compliance and Administration, the university announced on Monday.

CINCINNATI – Cincinnati Athletics' Grace Kroner has been promoted to Associate Athletics Director of Compliance and Administration, the university announced on Monday.
 
Kroner will now oversee the day-to-day operations of the compliance and administration department. In addition, she will continue her duties as the compliance contact for men's basketball, women's basketball and volleyball.
 
"Grace has been a valuable member of our compliance staff for the past eight years and has proven that she is ready for this opportunity to lead the department," said Maggie McKinley, Deputy AD and Senior Woman Administrator. "She has built trusting relationships with coaches, staff and student-athletes. Her promotion to Associate Athletics Director for Compliance is a recognition of her tremendous impact as an administrator and campus partner."
 
She joined the Cincinnati Athletics staff as an Assistant Director of Compliance in 2016. She was promoted to Director before earning the Assistant AD for Compliance title in 2020.  
 
She is a graduate of UC's Sport Administrator Development program and serves as the secondary sport administrator for men's and women's cross country and track & field.
 
Kroner received her master's degree in sports administration as well as her master's of business administration from UC. Kroner is an active member of NAAC and Women's Leaders and collected the NAAC Rising Star Award in 2020.
 
A Cincinnati native, she earned her bachelor's degree at Temple University in sports and recreation management while also competing on the women's rowing team.
 
She replaces Trever Wright, who moved into a new role as the Associate AD for Student-Athlete Management.
