CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati volleyball student-athletes Abby Walker and Faith Frame earned All-Big 12 honors, with Walker named to the All-Big 12 Second Team and Frame to the All-Rookie Team.
Walker is the first Bearcat to earn a spot on either All-Big 12 Team. She ranked sixth in the Big 12 in blocks per set (1.06) and 10th in hitting percentage (.331). She led the team in blocks in 20 matches and posted five or more blocks in eight contests. She finished her Bearcat career with 1,026 kills, 355 blocks and 105 aces.
A native of Cambridge, Ohio, Walker was drafted by the Columbus Fury in the 2024 PVF Collegiate Draft. She was picked in the fourth round as the 32nd overall selection.
Frame made an immediate impact in her debut season, ranking sixth in the Big 12 with 4.10 digs per set. She posted double-digit digs in 21 matches, including six performances with 20 or more. Her 435 digs were the most in a single season by a Bearcat since 2015 and the fourth-most ever by a Cincinnati freshman.
The Gretna, Neb., native's four Rookie of the Week honors were tied for the most by any Big 12 freshman this season and were the most by a Bearcat since Jordan Thompson earned AAC Player of the Week recognition seven times.
