CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati women's basketball team returns to Fifth Third Arena on Wednesday, hosting Oklahoma State at 6:30 p.m. ET.
 
THE RUNDOWN
  • Cincinnati erased a 19-point deficit to pull within seven late before falling 81-66 to 11th-ranked TCU on Saturday. The Bearcats shot a season-high 46.3% from the field and knocked down six three-pointers but didn't attempt a free throw until the second half. They've held the advantage at the line in 11 of 13 games this season.
  • Fifth year forward Jillian Hayes delivered her fifth 20-point performance of the season and 15th of her career while surpassing 1,500 career points, becoming just the 10th player in UC history to reach the milestone.
  • Hayes is back in her groove, averaging 18.0 points and 10.5 rebounds over her last two games, while making 21 trips to the free throw line (.762). On Wednesday, she will set a new program record by appearing in her 128th career game in the Red & Black. 
  • Texas native Reagan Jackson scored 10 points (2-3 3FG) in her homecoming at TCU. She's averaging 12.6 points on 43.7% shooting (33.3% from three) over her last seven games.
  • Junior A'riel Jackson has stepped up in Big 12 play, averaging 8.7 points and 3.0 assists while shooting 62.5% from deep. She has recorded double-digit scoring efforts in two of her last three games and led the team in assists during that stretch.
  • Ndiba has been a force inside, averaging 8.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks while shooting 77.8% from the field over her last four games. She ranks eighth in the Big 12 in blocking (1.2) and 11th in rebounding (7.0). She has led the team in blocks in seven games, including the last three.
  • Hayes is averaging nearly a double-double with 16.6 points and 9.9 rebounds per game while shooting 43.8% from the field this season. Her seven double-doubles lead the Big 12 and rank 17th nationally. She also sits second in the Big 12 in rebounding and 11th in scoring.
  • Cincinnati is second in the Big 12 in free throw percentage (77.1%) and ranks second nationally in made free throws per game (18.2). Hayes leads the team in free throws made (74), ranking second in the Big 12 and 16th nationally.
  • Senior guard Tineya Hylton has posted seven double-digit scoring performances this season, including four 20-point outings in the first eight games.
  • Among active career Division I leaders, Hayes ranks third in FTs (477), 14th in rebounds (973) and 26th in double-doubles (30).
  • The Bearcats are forcing 19.6 turnovers per game and remain unbeaten (7-0) when committing fewer turnovers than their opponents. Cincinnati's +6.7 turnover margin ranks second in the Big 12 and 30th nationally.
  • Cincinnati has twice made 31 free throws in a game, the highest single-game total in the Big 12 this season. It marks the program's best since converting 32 free throws against DePaul on February 8, 2001.
  • The Bearcats secured their best non-conference winning percentage (.800, 8-2) since the 2005-06 season (.909, 10-1).
  • Cincinnati boasts a 6-1 home record, marking its best start at Fifth Third Arena since the 2018-19 season.
