CINCINNATI -- The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team travels to UCF for a 2 p.m. contest on Saturday in Orlando, Fla. 

THE RUNDOWN

  • Last time out, Cincinnati fell to Oklahoma State, 64-48, on Wednesday night inside Fifth Third Arena. The Bearcats could not overcome a cold shooting night, finishing with season lows in points (48) and field goal percentage (.297). UC, who has outrebounded its opponent in 11 games this season, was outrebounded by 19 in the ballgame (49-30).
  • Fifth year forward Jillian Hayes became UC's all-time leader in games played on Wednesday. She played in her 128th game in the Red & Black, passing Chelsea Warren (2015-19).
  • With eight rebounds vs. OSU, Hayes moved into second on UC's career rebounding list with 981 boards, passing Bev Obringer (1984-89, 977). She is 19 rebounds away from 1,000 in her career. 
  • Hayes has posted 11 double-digit scoring performances this season, including five 20-point outings. She surpassed 1,500 career points vs. TCU, becoming just the 10th player in UC history to reach the milestone.
  • Hayes is back in her groove, averaging 16.7 points and 9.7 rebounds over her last three games, while making 24 trips to the free throw line (.750). 
  • Junior A'riel Jackson scored a season-high 15 points vs. Oklahoma State. She tied her career highs in field goals made (6) and 3-pointers (3).
  • A'riel Jackson has stepped up in Big 12 play, averaging 10.7 points and 3.3 assists while shooting 63.3% from deep. She has recorded double-digit scoring efforts in three of the last four games and led the team in assists three times during the stretch.
  • Senior guard Tineya Hylton recorded a career-high six steals as UC forced 21 turnovers against Oklahoma State. She leads the team in category (30) and ranks sixth in the conference in steals per game (2.1).
  • Ndiba has been a force inside, averaging 7.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks while shooting 69.6% from the field over the last five games. She ranks eighth in the Big 12 in blocking (1.2) and 12th in rebounding (6.9). She has led the team in blocks in eight games, including the last four.
  • Hayes is averaging nearly a double-double with 16.4 points and 9.8 rebounds per game while shooting 43.8% from the field this season. Her seven double-doubles rank second in the Big 12 and 21st nationally. She also sits second in the league in rebounding and 12th in scoring.
  • Cincinnati is third in the Big 12 in free throw percentage (77.1%) and ranks seventh nationally in made free throws per game (17.3). Hayes leads the team in free throws made (76), ranking second in the Big 12 and 20th nationally.
  • Hylton has posted seven double-digit scoring performances this season, including four 20-point outings in the first eight games.
  • Among active career Division I leaders, Hayes ranks third in FTs (479), 14th in rebounds (981) and 27th in double-doubles (30).
  • The Bearcats are forcing 19.3 turnovers per game and remain unbeaten (7-0) when committing fewer turnovers than their opponents. Cincinnati's +6.6 turnover margin ranks second in the Big 12 and 25th nationally.
  • Cincinnati has twice made 31 free throws in a game, the highest single-game total in the Big 12 this season. It marks the program's best since converting 32 free throws against DePaul on February 8, 2001.
  • The Bearcats secured their best non-conference winning percentage (.800, 8-2) since the 2005-06 season (.909, 10-1).
