CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving teams wrapped up a weekend of competition on Saturday afternoon inside Keating Aquatic Center.

Kentucky took home victories over Cincinnati men and women, 164-136 and 179-116 respectively.

Highlights from the meet included freshman Ramez Diaa's strong performances in the diving events, placing second in the 1-meter dive with a score of 326.95 and recording a score of 367.55 in the 3-meter dive.

The Bearcats started the day with a thrilling win in the women's 400-yard medley relay (Grace Gavin, Joleigh Crye, Kate Mardis, and Jessica Davis), clocking a time of 3:36.54, the third-fastest in program history. The men followed suit, securing first place with a time of 3:11.19, the fifth-fastest in program history.

Graduate student Max Murray secured a first-place win in the 1000-yard freestyle with the second fastest time in program history (9:05.85).

On the women's side, graduate student Jessica Davis capped off her Keating Aquatic Center career with a first-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (23.18) and a second place in the 100-yard freestyle (50.67).

Freshman Owen Chiles continued to shine, winning the 100-yard freestyle in 44.13 seconds and placing second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.37 seconds, just behind graduate student Hunter Gubeno who took first place in 20.04 seconds.
