CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati men's and women's track and field teams are set to return to competition this weekend as they travel to Indianapolis, Ind., for the Crossroads of America Invitational held at the Indiana Farmers Insurance Pavilion on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, doors open to the public at 4 p.m. The first event of the day, the women's weight throw, begins at 5 p.m., with track events starting at 6 p.m., led by the women's 60m hurdle trials.
Saturday's schedule begins with doors opening at 9 a.m. Events will commence at 11 a.m., featuring the women's shot put and the women's 60m hurdles finals.
Cincinnati will travel 44 athletes to the meet, 22 men and 22 women.

Cincinnati recorded five event victories and 15 program top 10 marks throughout the two-day meet at the Rod McCravy Invitational.
Freshman distance runner Christina Allen showcased an outstanding performance, winning both the 800m and 1000m events. She triumphed in the 800m with a time of 2:15.67 and secured the 1000m title with a finish of 2:54.64.
Graduate student Astley Davis, a native of Kingston, Jamaica, claimed victory in the triple jump with a mark of 15.80m. This distance ranks as the second longest in program history and currently stands as the best in the Big 12. On a national level, his jump is 11th in the nation.
Sophomore Davenae Fagan captured a win in the 200m dash, clocking a 23.87, the eighth-fastest time in the Big 12. The Stone Mountain, Ga., native now holds the fourth-fastest time in Cincinnati history. Fagan has quickly made her mark, setting new program records just two meets into the season.
