TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics will celebrate Black History Month throughout February with a month-long digital storytelling effort on GoBEARCATS.com and the Bearcats' social media platforms. Student-athletes from all sports will discuss the meaning and importance of this month through social posts and graphics.
Each Friday in February will showcase larger stories from UC's rich history and its exciting present.
BIG 12 CONFERENCE TO CELEBRATE LEGACY OF DR. MAYA ANGELOU
Cincinnati Athletics will also participate in the Big 12 Conference's Black History Month celebration, in partnership with with the Maya Angelou Estate. Big 12 basketball student-athletes will wear shooting shirts throughout February featuring one of Angelou's most iconic lines: "If you're going to live, leave a legacy. Make a mark on the world that can't be erased."
