CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Athletics Department is proud to announce the return of its groundbreaking NIL event, "In Her Likeness," presented by Robinhood and sponsored by Cincy Reigns, on Tuesday, February 18 from 6 - 8 p.m.

This event, held in Nippert Stadium's West Pavilion, is aimed at empowering female student-athletes by equipping them with the tools and resources they need to thrive in the rapidly evolving NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) landscape.

As part of Robinhood's support, its team will share a financial literacy presentation.

Last year saw the nation's largest female NIL event, raising $15,000 for female athletes and resulting in more than 100 NIL deals and activations for UC's female student-athletes. This year, the department is set to raise the bar with projections exceeding those of last year.

The program includes four educational sessions led by top brands, offering guidance on building personal brands, self-marketing, and exploring revenue-generating opportunities. Through networking with industry leaders, UC's female student-athletes will gain valuable insights into maximizing their NIL potential, covering everything from social media strategies to brand partnerships and entrepreneurial endeavors.

"I really enjoyed the In Her Likeness event, and I am looking forward to it again this year," junior lacrosse student-athlete Camryn Callaghan said. "It focuses on encouraging and empowering female student-athletes to grow their brand. It is a great networking event where I made many connections and I left feeling more confident and eager to grow my brand in the NIL world!"

In Her Likeness exemplifies this mission by offering female student-athletes a unique space to network, learn, and share experiences, fostering collaboration and internal growth.  This initiative not only fosters collaboration and empowerment but also positions UC as a leader in organic NIL strategies for women in sports. By utilizing strategic social media campaigns and earned media, UC Athletics amplifies the voices of its female athletes ensuring their success transcends their time at the university.
