TicketsMOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team wrapped up play on Tuesday at the Rivertowne Country Club.
The Bearcats secured their second top five finish of the season, tying for fourth place in the Rivertowne Invitational with a team score of 896.
Mar Garcia led the team with seven birdies throughout the tournament, finishing at three-over par (219) and tying for sixth place. This marks her first top ten finish as a Bearcat and third of her collegiate career.
Yu-Wei Chiang continued her strong start to the spring season, carding a team-high eight birdies and finished tied for eighth place. This is her first top ten finish of the season and second of her career.
Rim Imni (T28), Ruby Chou (T32), and Minoo Mousavi (T41) followed in that order. Lauren Pleiman, competing as an individual, earned her best finish of the season, tying for 52nd place.
High Point claimed the team title with a score of 890, while Charleston Southern's Odette Garcia took the individual title with a tournament-best one-under par (215).
