CINCINNATI — Cincinnati track and field will send four representatives to compete on the national stage next week, following Tuesday night's release of accepted entries for the 2025 NCAA Division I Indoor National Championships. The prestigious competition, featuring the best collegiate track athletes in the country, will take place at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia on Friday and Saturday, March 14-15.

In order to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships, athletes need to be ranked within the Top 16 nationally in their corresponding event. Cincinnati will be present in four events – the heptathlon, shot put (M), triple jump (M) and pole vault (W).

ESPN+ will broadcast the championships live on Friday, March 14 beginning at 9:15 a.m. ET and Saturday, March 15 starting at 9:30 a.m. ET. A replay of the championships will air on ESPNU on Sunday, March 16 at 7 p.m. ET.

Astley Davis • Men's Triple Jump
Davis took home the Bearcats' first ever Big 12 title on the men's side with a leap of 15.90m last Saturday. The Kingston, Jamaica native claimed his spot at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Tennessee at the Music City Challenge. He leaped an impressive 16.22m, taking down a 54-year-old school record set by Bearcat Hall of Famer Al Lanier in 1972 at 15.99m. Davis's mark leads the Big 12 and puts him 10th in the country.

Abby Knouff  • Women's Pole Vault
The Tallmadge, Ohio native punched her ticket to Virginia Beach with a vault of 4.46m at the Big 12 Championships, garnering third place. Knouff's result set a new school record, which she previously held at 4.35m. Her mark ranks 11th in the nation.

Fred Moudani-Likibi • Men's Shot Put
With a school record-setting toss of 20.62m at the Music City Challenge, Moudani-Likibi punched his ticket to the NCAA Indoor Championships. The Savigny-Le-Temple, France native holds the second-furthest throw on the 2025 collegiate list. At the Big 12 Championships he captured six points for the Bearcats, coming in third place.

Justin Abrams • Heptathlon
The former pole vault walk-on made program history in the heptathlon, as he qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships at the Husker Invitational. Abrams notched a school record 5832 points, crushing the previous school record (5693) by 139 points. The Colerain Township, Ohio native ranks ninth nationally and third in the Big 12.
