The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team kicks off their five-match home stand to wrap up the season by hosting NKU, Colorado and No. 15 Texas Tech this week.

Tennis Set to Host Three Teams This WeekTennis Set to Host Three Teams This Week
CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team kicks off their five-match homestand to wrap up the season by hosting NKU, Colorado and No. 15 Texas Tech this week.
 
First serve against the Norse is set for 1:30 p.m. p.m. ET on Wednesday, 1 p.m. ET on Friday versus Colorado, and 12 p.m. ET on Sunday against Texas Tech.
 
The contest against NKU will take place at the Western Athletic Club. Weather permitting, the other two matchups will be held outdoors at the Trabert–Talbert Tennis Center; otherwise, they will be moved indoors to the Western Athletic Club.
 
Cincinnati (7-10) enters the week having lost two tough road matches, No. 17 UCF, 4-1, and to Houston, 4-2, last weekend.
 
Sophomore Sakurako Watanabe impressed against UCF. The Edgewood, Ky., native played an incredible match, as she grabbed the lone point for Cincinnati with a 6-3, 6-2 win on court No. 5. This marked Watanabe's ninth singles win of the season.

Against Houston, the partnership of graduate student Zeynep Erman and senior Callie Flanagan continued to be phenomenal this season. The duo held down court three with a 6-3 win, boosting the pair's record to 7-3.
 
// SCOUTING THE NORSE
NKU comes into the match with a record of 5-5 and a 1-0 record in the Horizon League. The Norse won their last match against IU Indy, 5-2. This marked their second win in a row after they took down Bethune-Cookman, 6-1, earlier in the week.
 
Ashlee Fisk leads the Norse in singles. She holds a 6-4 record on court No. 1 and is on a two-match winning streak.
 
In doubles competition, the pairing of Fisk and Ana Isabela Serrano have dominated court two with an impressive 4-1 record.
 
// SCOUTING THE BUFFALOES
Colorado enters the match with a record of 7-10 and 1-8 in conference play. The Buffalos dropped their last match after they got swept at home against No. 15 Texas Tech, 4-0.
 
In singles, Mila Stanojevic leads the charge with a record of 8-5 (6-5 on court No. 1), while the duo of Lera Alexin and Stanojevic have impressed on court three with a 5-0 mark.

Texas Tech heads into the weekend boasting a national ranking of No. 15 by ITA, presenting an impressive record of 15-2 and 8-1 in Big 12 play.
 
The Red Raiders are currently on a four-match win streak, having defeated Baylor (4-2), Houston (4-0), No. 17 UCF (4-1) and Colorado (4-0).
 
No.124 Kate Dmitrichenko spearheads Texas Tech's singles lineup, as she owns an almost unblemished record of 13-1 (4-0 on court No. 2), while Jermine Sherif is on an eight-game win streak in the No. 6 spot.
 
The ITA No. 4 ranked powerhouse duo of Mariia Hlahola and Avelina Sayfetdinova boasts an exceptional 12-2 record in doubles on court No. 1, including an impressive 8-2 mark against nationally ranked opponents.
