CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team will head to Hockley, Texas for the Big 12 Championship on Tuesday.

The Big 12 Championship will take place at the par 71, 6,249-yard Houston Oaks Country Club course. The tournament begins on Tuesday and will run through Thursday.

Last time out, Junior Mar Garcia paced the Bearcats at the Chattanooga Classic, opening with consecutive rounds of two-under-par 70. She followed up with a one-over 73 in the final round to secure a third-place finish — the best of her collegiate career and the top result by any Bearcat this season. Garcia enters the Big 12 Championship with a team-leading season-low stroke average of 74.53.

In addition to Cincinnati, the 14-team field includes Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, BYU, Colorado, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech and UCF.

The Bearcats' lineup includes Mar Garcia, Rim Imni, Ruby Chou, Yu-Wei Chiang and Minoo Mousavi. Lauren Pleiman will compete as an individual.

The final round of the Big 12 Championship will be broadcast live on ESPN+ on Thursday.
