LOUISVILLE, Ky. — University of Cincinnati track and field sophomore standout Juliette Laracuente-Huebner broke her own school record in the heptathlon after notching 5698 points at the Louisville invitational on Sunday.
Laracuente-Huebner's mark is currently the eighth best score nationally.
She first claimed the school record last season at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a 5,637-point performance, surpassing Ashley Wilhelm's previous mark of 5,592 set in 2007.

Laracuente-Huebner captured the heptathlon championship by winning five of the seven events and delivering impressive performances throughout the competition.
The Marengo, Ohio, native established her dominance on day one, accumulating 3,405 points to lead the field. She opened with a commanding victory in the 100m hurdles, clocking 13.75 seconds for 1,017 points. Laracuente-Huebner continued her stellar performance by claiming first place in the high jump with a clearance of 1.74m (903 points) and winning the 200m in 24.36 seconds (946 points). She added a fourth-place finish in the shot put with a 10.15m throw (539 points).
On the final day, Laracuente-Huebner maintained her momentum, dominating the long jump with a 6.28m leap to secure first place and 937 points. The sophomore placed fourth in the javelin with a throw of 31.65m (508 points) before closing out the competition in emphatic fashion, winning the 800m in 2:18.23 to seal her championship.
