CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati football program announced another addition via the transfer portal on Wednesday, long snapper Eli Stein.
A Cambridge, Wis. native, Stein joins the Bearcats after spending time at Wisconsin and Arkansas, playing three seasons in Fayetteville.
Stein was twice named to the Patrick Mannelly Award watch list while with the Razorbacks, an award that honors the nation's top long snapper. He was named Freshman All-SEC in 2022 as well. Stein was the long snapper for current Cincinnati punter and former Arkansas teammate Max Fletcher.
In high school, Stein was ranked as high as the No. 2 long snapper prospect in the country by Kohl's Kicking. He also played tight end and linebacker during his prep career.
