FORT WORTH, Texas – The University of Cincinnati baseball team will look to end its road trip on a high note at TCU this weekend.
The three-game series between the Bearcats (28-20, 13-11 Big 12) and the Horned Frogs (33-15, 15-9 Big 12) will begin on Friday at 7:00 p.m. ET. Game two on Saturday is set for a 3:00 p.m. ET start, and first pitch on Sunday will be 2:00 p.m. ET. All three games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
This weekend's series marks the second time Cincinnati and TCU have met as members of the Big 12. UC swept their series last year at home, ending the weekend with a statement-making 13-2 run-rule victory in game three. However, the Horned Frogs have won the other four series that were played from 2002-05 when both teams were members of Conference USA.
The Bearcats are 4-0 on their current road trip, having swept Kansas last weekend before winning at Oral Roberts on Tuesday.
Cincinnati wraps up the regular season with four games at home next week. Indiana comes to town on Tuesday before UC hosts Kansas State next weekend.
Tuesday is 513 Day, and to celebrate ESPN 1530's Mo Egger Radio Show will go live from UC Baseball Stadium at 3 p.m. for a special on-site broadcast featuring guests from Cincinnati Athletics. It will also be $2 Tuesday at the ballpark, with $2 general admission tickets and $2 hot dogs available to all fans.

The penultimate regular season weekend of the college baseball season features a terrific matchup between the Bearcats and Horned Frogs.
Cincinnati (28-20, 13-11) enters the weekend in seventh place in the Big 12 standings, but is just three games back of second-place Arizona State (32-17, 16-8). UC has a chance to make a significant move up the standings, owning the tiebreaker against ASU and Kansas (37-13, 15-9) and having yet to face TCU (33-15, 15-9) and Kansas State (28-20, 14-10).
The top 12 teams in the regular season standings will advance to the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, Wednesday, May 21 to Saturday, May 24. In the new format, the top four seeds will receive a bye while the No. 5-12 seeds play four single elimination games in the first round. The winners will take on the top four seeds in the quarterfinals on Thursday, May 22 with a chance to advance to the semifinals on Friday, May 23. The Championship final will be played on Saturday, May 24. All games in the tournament will be single elimination.

Cincinnati defeated Oral Roberts, 10-2, on Tuesday to win its fourth straight game. Lauden Brooks smashed a three-run homer in the top of the first to cap a five-run inning, and UC controlled the game from that point on. Oral Roberts scored a couple in the bottom of the fourth, but Brandon Scheurer shut them down in the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth. The right-hander struck out a season-high six and allowed just one hit in four innings of work. Adam Mrakitsch sent down the Golden Eagles in order in the ninth to end the game.
It was the third straight game with at least 10 runs for the Bearcats, the second time this season they have scored double-digit runs in three straight games.
