TicketsCINCINNATI – Three members of the Cincinnati football team were named to the 2026 Senior Bowl Top 300 list on Wednesday.
Defensive lineman Dontay Corleone, linebacker Jake Golday, and tight end Joe Royer all earned spots on the list.
The honor is the latest of many for Corleone, who has also been named to three major award watch lists and has received preseason All-America distinctions from Walter Camp and Phil Steele. A two-time All-American, “The Godfather” earned his third consecutive all-conference nod last season, collecting First Team All-Big 12 honors. The Cincinnati native and Colerain HS graduate logged 26 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks while overcoming a difficult offseason that saw him sidelined with blood clots for three months. Corleone returned to action on Sept. 3 last year and made an immediate impact.
An honorable mention all-conference selection a season ago, Golday was PFF’s second-highest-graded linebacker in the Big 12 last season. He ranked second on the team with 58 tackles and seven tackles for loss and earned a Big 12 Newcomer of the Week award after an excellent game at UCF. Golday has been picked to preseason All-Big 12 squads by Phil Steele and Athlon Sports heading into the 2025 season.
A Mackey Award watch list honoree, Royer was a First Team All-Big 12 pick last year. In his first year as a Bearcat last season, he broke the single-season school record for receptions by a tight end with 50, besting Travis Kelce’s mark of 45 from 2012. Royer’s 50 catches went for 521 yards and he caught three touchdowns as well. The Cincinnati native led all Big 12 tight ends in receptions and receiving yards last season.
