CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati volleyball team will head to Wright State for an exhibition match on Saturday. First serve is set for 2 p.m. inside the C.J. McLin Gymnasium.

Head coach Danijela Tomic begins her first season leading the Bearcats after spending the past 13 years at Bowling Green.

Cincinnati returns 10 letterwinners, including four starters from a season ago. The Bearcats bring back two of their leading point scorers, Sydney Nolan (3.38 pts/s) and Carly Glendinning (3.96 pts/s).

UC added eight new faces to the 2025 roster, including five freshmen and three transfers. The freshman class features Ava Ledebuhr (Naperville, Ill.), Elliott Mickelberry (Lafayette, Colo.), Izzy Busignani (Rochester Hills, Mich.), Tasha Simeuonvic (Cecak, Serbia) and Fallyn Blotzer (Corona, Calif.).

Andi Spies (Fort Atkinson, Wis. / Middle Tennessee), McKenzie Johnson (Rockwall, Texas / LA Tech) and Brooke Crummel (Cumming, Ga. / Liberty) join as transfers.

The Bearcats officially open the 2025 season with the Tribute to #10 matches, hosting Wake Forest on Friday, Aug. 29 at 6:30 p.m. and Michigan on Sunday, Aug. 31 at 1 p.m.
