BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The University of Cincinnati women’s soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with Bowling Green on Sunday at Cochrane Stadium.
Cincinnati had a strong offensive showing in the first 45 minutes, outshooting Bowling Green 7-3.
After halftime, the Bearcats’ defense held the Falcons to just one corner kick and no shots on goal. Cincinnati finished with a 12-6 edge in total shots and a 7-1 advantage in shots on goal.
Cincinnati’s best chance came in the 57 minute when senior Coley Sidloski fired a shot toward the bottom-left corner in the second half, but Bowling Green’s goalkeeper got just enough on it to deflect it wide.
The Bearcats move to 2-2-2 on their season.
Sidloski led the team in shots with three (two on goal) while Molly Cochran, Jada Arthurs and Claire Rea each contributed two. Graduate student Camryn Miller recorded her third shutout of the season.
Miller, Carly Oubs, Faith Broering and Christa Gibbons played the full 90.
Cincinnati travels to face Pittsburgh next at 7 p.m. on Thursday inside Ambrose Urbanic Field.
