CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati women’s tennis team will host the annual Pam Whitehead Invitational this weekend at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center.
The events will start on Friday, September 19 and continue through Saturday, September 20. Admission is free for all fans.
The field includes Miami (OH), Louisville and Marshall.
In addition, sophomore Gabby Guether will be traveling to Cary, N.C., to compete in the ITA All-American Championships on Saturday, September 20.
// ABOUT THE PAM WHITEHEAD INVITATIONAL
In 2018, the program renamed its annual fall invitational to honor Pam Whitehead, a former standout player for the Bearcats and a beloved member of the Cincinnati tennis community. Whitehead passed away in 2017, leaving behind a legacy of excellence. She holds the program's single season record for combined doubles wins with 25.

// ABOUT THE ITA ALL-AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
Since 1983, the ITA Women’s All-American Championships have featured the nation’s top NCAA Division I players and have been a pioneer in women’s college tennis. In addition, the event has created milestones that have directly influenced the popularity of women’s collegiate tennis over the years.
Guenther will be starting in the pre-qualifying round on September 20 at 9 a.m.
