The University of Cincinnati women’s soccer team fell to Houston, 3-1, on Thursday night at the Carl Lewis International Complex.

HOUSTON - The University of Cincinnati women’s soccer team fell to Houston, 3-1, on Thursday night at the Carl Lewis International Complex.
The Bearcats move 2-3-4 on their season.
Cincinnati fought throughout the first half but were unable to convert. Houston broke through with a goal in the 32nd minute to take a lead into halftime.
After the break, Houston scored goals in the 59th and 71st minutes to extend its lead to 3-0. Cincinnati responded just two minutes later in the 73rd minute as sophomore Rylee Felton and freshman Kayla Gaynor set up senior Coley Sidloski for the finish. It marked Sidloski's second goal of the season. 
The Bearcats tallied three shots in the second half, including two on target, while finishing the match with two corner kicks and seven saves from keeper Camryn Miller
Up next, Cincinnati travels to face Utah at 9 p.m. ET on September 24 at Ute Field.
