The University of Cincinnati women’s soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against Utah at Ute Field on Wednesday night.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Cincinnati women’s soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against Utah at Ute Field on Wednesday night.

The Bearcats move to 2-3-5 on their season.

Cincinnati's defense held strong against Utah's attack, which registered 19 shots and five corner kicks. Graduate goalkeeper Camryn Miller continued her standout season for the Bearcats, recording four saves to keep the match even.

Offensively, the Bearcats tallied five shots and earned two corner kicks but were unable to capitalize on their opportunities.

Freshman Kayla Gaynor recorded her first career start while sophomore transfer Karson Yon made her first appearance as a Bearcat. 

Miller, Anna Barber, Christa Gibbons and Maddie Swingle played the full 90.

Up next, the Bearcats stay on the road, traveling to Provo to face BYU on Saturday September 27 at South Field.
