The University of Cincinnati women’s soccer team fell 3-0 against No. 16 BYU at South Field on Saturday night.

PROVO, Utah – The University of Cincinnati women’s soccer team fell 3-0 against No. 16 BYU at South Field on Saturday night.

The Bearcats move to 2-4-5 on their season while the Coagars improve to 6-3-1.

BYU struck early, scoring twice within a three-minute span in the opening 14 minutes. Sophomore Rylee Felton registered one shot but was unable to capitalize.

Senior Coley Sidloski sparked momentum after the break with two shots, but neither found the back of the net.

Cincinnati looked to rally in the second half but managed just one shot on goal. BYU extended its lead at the 64-minute mark to 3-0. 

Graduate goalie transfer Camryn Miller recorded two saves.

Up next, the Bearcats will then travel back home to face Arizona State on Thursday, October 2.
