CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women’s soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against UCF at home on Sunday.
The Bearcats move to 3-5-6 on their season.
Cincinnati matched UCF with six shots in the first half, but neither team was able to break through to the net.
The Bearcats were outshot 6-2 in the second half, but their defense held strong for the scoreless draw.
Graduate student Camryn Miller recorded her sixth shutout of the season and tallied five saves in the match.
Senior Coley Sidloski led the team in shots with three while Kayla Gaynor, Christa Gibbons, Maddie Swingle and Claire Rea each contributed one.
Miller, Gibbons, sophomore Carly Oubs, Anna Barber, and senior Faith Broering played the full 90.
After the game, the Sidloski family presented their memorial scholarship to junior Ella Burke for embodying the true qualities of "Playing for 3." Along with this presentation, UC student-athletes, who were awarded the "Bearcat Strong" award, were honored during halftime.
Up next, Cincinnati will travel to Kansas for a two-match road stint, taking on Kansas State on Thursday and Kansas on Sunday.
