TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women’s tennis program is traveling to Knoxville, Tenn., to compete in the ITA/UTSA Ohio Valley Regional Championships at the University of Tennessee in the Goodfriend Tennis Center on October 16-21.
The events will start Thursday, October 16 and will continue through Tuesday, October 21.
The field features teams from Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, and Missouri, including Purdue, Louisville, Vanderbilt, and Southeast Missouri State, among others.
Last year at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship, Cincinnati picked up a total of 10 singles wins and four doubles wins.

Junior Gabby Guenther is the only Bearcat participating in the main draw singles.
Sara Watanabe, Morgan Pyrz, Milica Popovski, Ana Arsic, Tara Kurepa, Caterina Greco and Isabel Pacheco are set to compete in the qualifying singles.
Morgan Pyrz/Sara Wantanabe, Gabby Guenther/Tara Kurepa, Ana Arsic/Milica Popovski and Caterina Greco/Isabel Pacheco are in the main draw doubles.

Cincinnati picked up a total of 11 singles wins and three doubles wins over the four-day event at the Big 12 Fall Championships in Waco, Texas.
Gabrielle Guenther, Sakurako Watanabe, Morgan Pryz and Milica Popvski each recorded two singles wins. Guenther, Pryz and Watanabe led the Bearcats with three total victories apiece, each earning two singles wins and one doubles win.
