CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati cross country teams are set for their final event before the Big 12 Championships, making the short trip to Evansville, Ind., for the Angel Mounds Invitational.
The event, hosted by Southern Indiana and the University of Evansville, features more than 20 schools. Live results are available here, and admission to the event is $5 cash only at the gate.
Angel Mounds also happens to be the site of the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, Friday, Oct. 14.
Cincinnati is looking to build off positive momentum on both the men's and women's side at Notre Dame. Freshman Nickson Kogei was named the Big 12's Cross Country Runner of the Week after winning the field, which included a 10,000m All-American, and was the fifth-best 8K time at that course in its near-60 years (22:39.4).
The women are seventh in the Great Lakes Region, while the men are eighth. The former has seen a tremendous push from Ann Lemirisho, who was third at the Spartan Invite/B1G Preview, and senior standout Claire Curtsinger.
