MANHATTAN, Kan. – The University of Cincinnati women’s soccer team fell 2-0 to Kansas State on Thursday night at Buser Family Park in Manhattan, Kan.

The Bearcats move to 3-6-6 on their season while the Wildcats improve to 7-4-3.

Cincinnati applied early pressure as senior Coley Sidloski fired the opening shot in the eighth minute. The Bearcats led at the half in shots with six, but both teams went into halftime scoreless.

The Wildcats found the net in the 50th minute, taking a 1-0 advantage. Kansas State added another goal 18 minutes later to extend the lead to 2-0.

Up next, Cincinnato travels to to Lawernce, Kan., to face the Jayhawks at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 19.
