The University of Cincinnati women’s golf team finished second at the Powercat Invitational on Tuesday at the Colbert Hills Golf Club.

MANHATTAN, Kan. – The University of Cincinnati women’s golf team finished second at the Powercat Invitational on Tuesday at the Colbert Hills Golf Club.

The Bearcats registered a team score of 904, placing behind host Kansas State.

Cincinnati had three student-athletes finish inside the top 10. Mar Garcia Jimenez notched a fourth-place finish behind a season-low, two-under 70 in the final round.

Rim Imni recorded the highest finish of her season, tying for fifth with a score of 225. She posted one-over 73s in the first and third rounds. Ellise Rymer was next, tying for seventh (226) behind an even-par 72 in the second frame.

Garcia Jimenez and Rymer have now recorded top five performances in back-to-back tournaments for the Bearcats.

Yu-Wei Chiang (21st, 234) and Clara Willem (29th, 238) followed in order.
