CINCINNATI – Ryan Ford, a senior on the Cincinnati men’s golf team, has moved to 47th in the latest PGA TOUR University rankings released Wednesday.
In partnership with the World Amateur Golf Rankin, PGA TOUR University ranks players based on the last two years of their collegiate careers. Eligible Tournaments include NCAA Division I men’s team competitions, official PGA TOUR tournaments and select DP World Tour events. The ranking period for the Class of 2026 began Week 23/2024 and concludes June 1, 2026, following the final round of stroke play at the NCAA D-I Men’s National Championship.
Ford, who has recorded a program-record 10 career top-10 finishes, leads the Bearcats with a 69.36 scoring average through 14 rounds this season. After finishing in a tie for 11th to open the season at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, the Westfield, Ind., native has finished no worse than a tie for ninth while posting three top-five finishes in his last four tournaments. Ford, who led the Bearcats a season ago in both scoring average and low rounds, tied his career-low 64 in the opening round of the Cullan Brown Collegiate earlier this month and has carded an under-par round eight of his last 11 times out.
The Bearcats will have several months off from competition before opening the spring portion of their schedule March 1-2 at the Colleton River Collegiate in Bluffton, S.C.
