The University of Cincinnati women’s soccer team fell 2-1 to No. 19-ranked West Virginia on Thursday night at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown, W.Va.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The University of Cincinnati women’s soccer team fell 2-1 to No. 19-ranked West Virginia on Thursday night at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown, W.Va.

The Bearcats finish the regular season with an overall record of 5-8-6 and mark of 3-6-2 in the Big 12. 

West Virginia found the back of the net in the 24th minute to grab the lead going into halftime.

After the break, the Mountaineers extended their lead in the 46th minute. The Bearcats responded 10 minutes later to put themselves on the board when senior Maddie Swingle converted a pass from Coley Sidloski.
