CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati track and field team will begin its 2025-26 indoor season Friday in Bloomington for the Indiana Early Bird Invitational.
The one-day event, held at the Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse, will begin with multis at 12 p.m. UC has seven events before the Big 12 Indoor Championships (Feb. 27-28), which includes three simultaneous ones Feb. 13-14.
"We had a very successful year last year with nine All-Americans," head coach Susan Seaton said. "We improved our conference standing in both indoor and outdoor. This year, we graduated a number of scorers and All-Americans, so we're in some rebuilding, especially on the men's side.
"We're really looking for our team to be well-rounded again, something we're known for."
Cincinnati returns six All-Big 12 performers in Orry Willems, Kya Epps (60m and 200m), Davenae Fagan, Abby Knouff and Juliette Laracuente-Huebner within the indoor circuit.
This is the same facility where Epps last year broke the school's 60m dash record in her Bearcats debut. She also took first in the 200m, with her 24:03 pace ranking seventh. Knouff also broke her own pole vault school record.
