CINCINNATI — University of Cincinnati junior outside hitter Sydney Nolan earned All-Big 12 First Team honors, while senior outside hitter Carly Glendinning was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team, marking the most All-Conference athletes the Bearcats have boasted since entering the Big 12 in 2023.

Nolan established herself as one of the nation’s most productive attackers throughout the 2025 campaign. The Florence, Ky., native ranked among the country’s best in several major offensive categories – 12th in kills per set (4.68), 15th in attacks per set (11.87), 17th in points per set (5.97) and 25th in total kills (468).

She also sat atop the Big 12 leaderboards, finishing second in attacks per set, third in kills per set and points per set, fifth in total kills, and sixth in total attacks.

Nolan anchored Cincinnati’s offense all season, hitting a team-best .305 and delivering one of the top attacking performances in program history. Her 4.68 kills per set rank ninth all-time at UC. She previously earned ACC All-Freshman honors at North Carolina in 2023 while competing as a middle blocker.

Glendinning capped off her senior year with the strongest statistical season of her career, earning All-Conference recognition after posting career highs in kills (355), digs (258) and blocks (50). She led the Bearcats with 10 double-doubles and delivered standout performances throughout the year, including a career-best 20 kills against Kansas (Oct. 30) and a career-high 19 digs in UC’s sweep of Utah (Oct. 22).

This marks the second All-Conference honor of Glendinning’s career; she was also named Second Team All-Conference in 2022 as a freshman during Cincinnati’s time in the American Athletic Conference.

Glendinning concludes her four-year Bearcat career with 1,185 kills, ninth most in UC’s rally-scoring era, along with 660 digs, 172 blocks, and 67 aces.
