CINCINNATI – Sydney Nolan continues to rewrite the record book. The Cincinnati junior outside hitter recently earned AVCA All-Region Midwest honors, becoming the program’s first recipient since UC Hall of Famer Jordan Thompson in 2019.
Already an All-Big 12 First Team selection, Nolan emerged as one of the nation’s premier attackers during the 2025 season. She finished 12th nationally in kills per set (4.68), 15th in attacks per set (11.87), 17th in points per set (5.97) and 25th in total kills (468).
Within the Big 12, Nolan ranked second in attacks per set, third in kills and points per set, fifth in total kills and sixth in total attacks. She powered the Bearcats’ offense all year with a team-best .305 hitting percentage, producing one of the most efficient attacking seasons in program history. Her 4.68 kills per set now stand ninth all-time at Cincinnati.
